Supervisor of Supported Employment Services 

The Arc, Inc. has a full time opening for Supervisor of Supported Employment Services. This position coordinates and manages all supported employment services. Monitors program performance, develops the program to enable the program to meet both fiscal and quality standards and provide for program growth. Maintains confidentiality of all priviledged information. 

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; three years of training or experience working with persons with disabilities; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Two years of supervisory experience. Must have a qualified personal vehicle, hold valid Idaho driver's license, and personal insurance. Must obtain First Aid, and CPR certification upon hire. Must be able to sucessfully pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation. 

Direct Care Staff - Residential  - Full-Time and Part-Time positions all Shifts!

The Arc, Inc. has a full and part time openings for Direct Care Staff.  The duties include working with our participants in their residential home.  Assist adults with disabilities achieve independence.  As direct care staff you will teach individuals having disabilities to prepare meals, manage money, shop, job skills and much more. 

High School Diploma or GED and experience with people with disabilities or related experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must have Idaho Driver’s license, qualified personal vehicle and own vehicle insurance.  Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification upon hire.  Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation.

Job Coach - Full-Time and Part-Time  positions available 

The Arc, Inc has full-time and part-time openings for Job Coach. The duties include working with our participants in the community, on the job and/or in our center-based program.  Assist adults with disabilities achieve independence.  As direct care staff you will teach individuals having disabilities to prepare meals, manage money, shop, job skills and much more.

RAVE (Recreational Activity and Vacation Experience) Coordinator

The RAVE Coordinator plans, Organizes and oversees recreational programs for people with disabilities. Coordinates intake process and elgibility of individuals seeking recreational services from The Arc. Coordinates volunteers for the activities. Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information. 

This position requires a High School Diploma or GED and two years experience working with people with disabilities; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must possess and Idaho Driver's license and possess vehicle insurance. Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification upon hire. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation.  

Telephone Service Representative (TSR) - Part -time 

This Telephone Service Representative (TSR) position is part-time Monday-Thursday 1pm-8pm. The TSR position will complete telemarketing calls to collect donated items of clothing and household goods for the non-profit. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

  • Meet shift requirements for call placement, acceptable donation rate and pick-up rate.
  • Provide professional, courteous and efficient customer service.
  • Generate and process all oral and written reports, documents, correspondence in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a safe and healthful environment.
  • Attend meetings and training as directed.
  • Maintain professional working relationships including, but not limited to, participants, co-workers, funding bodies, third parties and natural supports.
  • Accept responsibility for all program materials, equipment and supplies utilized in carrying out assignments.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the rules and regulations for this department.
  • Establish and maintain the integrity of program quality control procedures for vocational rehabilitation and Health and Welfare.
  • Maintains a good communication with co-workers and maintains a positive and professional work environment.
  • Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
  • Performs other duties as required.

AmeriCorps Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA) Opportunities with The Arc, Inc. in Boise, Idaho

Marketing

Member Duties: Promote and build sustainable partners in the community for the Print Shop, Work Services and B'arc Bones product & services by developing, implementing and managing a Sales & Marketing Plan. Identify and set up social media and e-Commerce functionality. Work with other department managers to integrate all marketing plans to ensure efficient use of tools and resources and have a consistent marketing message.

Human Resources

Member Duties: Working with the HR Manager in developing new best practices or update existing ones to meet the HR department goals. Identify employee branding and how the Arc can capitalize on their brand. Evaluate employee orientation, training and safety program and make recommendation for improvements.

Volunteer Program

Member Duties: Develop, formalize and implement a Volunteer Program by working with all department managers in identifying the Arc's volunteer needs. Enhance the training and education program for Volunteers, develop a Volunteer tracking system, and identify how the Arc recognizes and rewards volunteers. Be out in the community promoting the Arc while recruiting volunteers.

Resource Development

Member Duties: Analyze past and current donors and identify potential future donors for the organizations resource needs. Go out with the Executive Director on donor calls/meetings. Work with management to identify and implement a new donor data base management system.

Vehicle Donation Program

Member Duties: Develop and implement a new Vehicle Donation Program. Build lasting relationship with community partner along with creating and executing a marketing plan that integrates with other department plans.

Recreational Program

Member Duties: Review past & current recreational programs offered to people with intellectual & developmental disabilities and make recommendations on future activities to increase attendance and territories served. Participate in the activities to understand and update current materials and procedures. Build partnerships in the community where activities can take place

BENEFITS

Living Allowance - $ 1,026 month (before tax.) Only Federal Tax will be withheld.

End-of-Service Options

1.     Cash - $ 1,800

2.     Education - $ 5,920 towards future classes up to 7 years or pay existing student loans.

Health Care Options:

1.     Health Care Allowance - Primarily for VISTA that already have a primary insurance plan. This off-sets their out-of-pocket up to $ 7,150.

2.     Health Care Benefits - Covers specific out-of-pocket expense.

Child Care Benefit - Covers child care expense for child under the age of 13 living with VISTA member.
