The Arc Idaho, in partnership with the Autism Society, Treasure Valley and American Airlines, is proud to bring to the Boise Airport, Wings for Autism!

Wings for Autism® and Wings for All®, one of The Arc’s newest national initiatives, are airport “rehearsals” specially designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and people with other intellectual/developmental disabilities, their families and aviation professionals.

It is designed to alleviate some of the stress that experience when traveling by air. The program provides families and individuals the opportunity to practice entering the airport, obtaining boarding passes, going through security and boarding a plane.

American Airlines will be hosting a reception (optional) for all participants and family members that will start at 5:30PM. Participants will be boarding the aircraft at 7:30 PM, but we ask that you arrive at the airport no later than 6:30 PM to allow ample time to check-in and pass through security.

This event is free to the public. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation is limited to 140 people. Registration closes July 8th.
