Submitted by The Arc on Mon, 05/02/2022 - 04:12

Dogs are encouraged to bring their people to Southwest Idaho's largest craft beer festival. Attendees can sample great beers from Payette, Sockeye, Highlands Hollow, Salmon River and Ninkasi breweries.

There will be vendors, dog games, costume contest, and parade. Food and drink specials will be provided by the Crescent. Live music by Bernie Reilly, Willison Roos, Rebecca Scott, Emily Tipton, and Mr. Betty.  $15.00 admission buys a tasting mug and 8 tickets. Proceeds benefit employment opportunities for people with disabilities. For ages 21 and up only.   Sample great craft beers from Payette, Sockeye, Highlands Hollow, Salmon River, and Ninkasi breweries

Why are dogs a part of this festival? Dogs are becoming an important part of some of the things that we do at The Arc. The festival supports various employment opportunities for people with disabilities. This includes jobs in the community and the B’Arc business. B’Arc is an all natural dog biscuit that is made at our facility. B’Arc bones are made, marketed, and sold by people with disabilities. B’Arc has been a great way for people with disabilities to join forces with people who work with dogs and other pets. We also assist people in getting their dream jobs of working with animals.
