Dogs are strongly encouraged to bring their people to Idaho's largest dog-friendly craft beer festival at Highlands Hollow Brewhouse Saturday, October 7th, from 3pm-8 pm. Proceeds benefit The Arc.
Attendees can sample great beers from local and regional breweries. There will be dog-related vendors and a dog parade and costume contest. Silent auction items will be available for bid. Food will be provided by Highlands Hollow Brewhouse. The dog parade and costume contest starting at 4:00 pm. Live music starts at 3:15pm. $25.00 admission buys a tasting mug and eight (8) tickets. Proceeds benefit employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
The Arc is a private non-profit that is committed to providing greater levels of independence for Idahoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in how they learn, live, work, and play. For over sixty years, The Arc has been empowering people with I/DD to be fully included and actively participating in building a stronger community by creating opportunities for education, employment, housing, and recreation. We assist in teaching skills of daily living and have a recreational program called Recreation and Vacation Experience (RAVE) that provides recreational opportunities to any person with a disability in southwest Idaho. We also provide job training and assist people to find gainful employment in the community. At The Arc, we believe all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are defined by their own strengths, abilities, and inherent value, not by their disability.
The festival supports various employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Proceeds from B’Arc & Brew will go directly to the expansion of services and support job opportunities for the people we serve.
