Fit for Life

Shop for Good Results

Last month we were the lucky recipients of Boise Co-op’s Shop for Good day. As the winners of their online contest, we collected 4% of the profits from the store on June 16th. We also set up a booth at the store in order to talk to customers about what The Arc does and thank them for shopping on our day. As a result, our Shop for Good Day raised over $2900 for our programs!

Arc Yard Sale

The Arc is having an agency wide yard sale on Saturday, July 16th! The Arc has invited all employees to participate in a large yard sale held here at 4402 Albion Street (one block south of Franklin off Orchard Street) on July 16th. There will be a large variety of items from several different sellers and we invite you to come by because there will surely be something for everyone. The sale will run for one day only, will start at 8am and end at 2pm.

Sprout Film Festival

The Arc is proud to announce that we are presenting the First Annual Sprout Film Festival at the Egyptian Theatre on October 22, 2011.

Sprout is a unique opportunity to experience film and video related to the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. People with intellectual and developmental disabilities as subjects and performers remain marginalized in the media. The Sprout Film Festival aims to raise their profile by showcasing works of all genres featuring this population.
